Bonus Day 1 – The very old lady

Hello lovely ladies!

Today is going to be a bit different than any other days before. I would like you to make sure that no one will bother you in the next few minutes. Sit back and enjoy the story I’m about to tell you. This short tale is about how to keep a positive attitude, how to build a strong and healthy self-image and finally how to accept and even enjoy ageing. So once again sit back and relax and enjoy the story of the very old lady.

A very old lady looked in the mirror one morning. She had three remaining hairs on her head, and being a positive soul, she said, “I think I’ll braid my hair today.” So she braided her three hairs, and she had a great day.

Some days later, looking in the mirror one morning, preparing for her day, she saw that she had only two hairs remaining. “Hmm, two hairs… I fancy a centre parting today.” She duly parted her two hairs, and as ever, she had a great day.

A week or so later, she saw that she had just one hair left on her head. “One hair huh…,” she mused, “I know, a pony-tail will be perfect.” And again she had a great day.

The next morning she looked in the mirror. She was completely bald.

“Finally bald huh,” she said to herself, “How wonderful! I won’t have to waste time doing my hair any more.”

Call To Action: Creative writing

I would like you to take some time and think about how this story could change your life for the better? The main idea here is to keep on writing until the time is up, even if you feel that there is nothing else you would like to add in regards to the subject. When you feel that you are stuck and your mind becomes blank, that’s what you need to put on the paper until something comes to your mind. By writing with your hand, you make the right side of your brain work and also challenge your subconscious mind to reveal important things regarding the task in hand that might have been hidden until that point.

Once again the questions are: what did you learn from this story and how could this story change your life for the better? You’ve got 25 minutes for this exercise. Enjoy!

If you’d like, you can even send me your writing and I will post it on my website at
